In the month of July, a total of 6 Express Entry draws were conducted by the IRCC, to invite candidates to apply for permanent residency, and total of 9,300 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued through the various Express Entry draws.

These Express Entry Draws targeted candidates with different CRS scores and specific skills, such as STEM and healthcare, as well as those proficient in the French language. The month witnessed a record number of draws held, offering numerous opportunities for candidates to receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) and pursue their dream of becoming Canadian permanent residents.

This draw was the first Express Entry draw in July, inviting 700 candidates from all programs with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 511. Candidates from various immigration programs, including Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), were eligible to apply.

Draw 254: July 5th, 2023 (STEM Category-Specific Draw)

• Program: STEM occupations (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)

The second draw of July targeted candidates with expertise in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) occupations. A total of 500 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 486 were invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

Draw 255: July 6th, 2023 (Healthcare Category-Specific Draw)

• Minimum CRS Score: 463
• Program: Healthcare occupations

This third focused on candidates with experience in healthcare occupations. 1500 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 463 were invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada. This draw provided an opportunity for healthcare professionals to contribute their skills and expertise to the Canadian workforce.

Draw 256: July 7th, 2023 (Francophone Category Draw)

• Program: Express Entry for Francophone newcomers

The Fourth Draw Canada held its first-ever Express Entry draw specifically for Francophone newcomers on July 7th. A total of 2300 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 439, who are proficient in the French language, were invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

This draw aimed to support and promote the integration of Francophone immigrants into Canadian society.

Draw 257: July 11th, 2023 ( All programs-None specified)

• Program: All programs (Non-specified)

The fifth draw of July invited 800 candidates from all programs with a minimum CRS score of 505. Like the first draw, this draw targeted candidates from various immigration programs, allowing a diverse pool of candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

Draw 258: July 12th, 2023 (French Language Category Draw)

• Program: French language proficiency

The sixth and last draw of July was a category-based draw for candidates with French language proficiency. A total of 3800 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 375, who demonstrated their French language skills, were invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada.

This draw aimed to attract candidates who can contribute to Canada’s bilingual identity and foster linguistic diversity.
