The Immigration Minister has announced a first-ever targeted Express Entry draw specifically for 35 healthcare occupations. In the first draw, 500 invitations to apply (ITAs) will be sent out to candidates who meet the criteria for these occupations.

Furthermore, the Minister also announced that the first round of selection for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) categories will begin in the week of July 5.
